John Winmill.
John Winmill, age 89, of 862 South Rush street, died at 4:55 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Epworth hospital where he had been ill two weeks. Death was due to the infirmities of age. He was born in Toronto, Canada, March 30, 1843, and came here 20 years ago. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Cora Roose, South Bend; Mrs. Martha Dunn, South Bend; and Mrs. Hazel Suave, Detroit, Michigan; two sons, Wesley, LaPorte, and Charles, South Bend; one sister, Mrs. Emma Vanglem, Evanston, Ill., and one brother, Fred Winmill, of Stanton, N.D.
The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock Saturday morning from the L.H. Orvis chapel. Rev. Elmer Ward Cole, D.D., of First Christian church, will officiate and burial will be in Sumption Prairie cemetery.
